- “GREAT JOB! This is a GREAT GAME! It blends so many great concepts. It is a game that is sophisticated
beyond most football games but also is playable. And I love the realism in ratings! Players are not just lumped into general
grades. It makes a real difference
in not only having a good lineman but actually HOW he blocks. How you need a good pass protection tackle AND a top run blocker. A player may well fit in well with one
team but not so well with another.
And THAT, my friend, is how football REALLY works! You did a great job in catching
that. And this game can be played
with ANY league structure in mind.
A small league doesn’t work well in most games, as they are
ultimately decided by the skill player’s cards. Yours is less so and those players have
to match up against a premier defender who can “bring them down to
earth”. Similarly, a league of
lesser lights can also work better.”

- “First off, I simply like this game and I
like it very much. I think the game
engine allows for great detail while maintaining a
simplicity not found in some other sims
that entail play-calling and strategy.
The player ratings seem dead-on in terms of accuracy and there is a
variety in the results that will always keep it interesting. I also relish the idea of having
tangible plays that must be called and defenses which must be
maneuvered…By all means, let me know when the game becomes available for purchase and I will do so straight away.”

- “The game over all is very
good. The individual plays to run
are a plus for head to head play, but probably detracts from solitary play
a bit (for some)…I wish you and your game much success. I look forward to getting my hands on
the finished product.”

- “I really like the way the
players results are determined and the way they interact…it would really
shine (as a face-to-face game) especially with all the possible
formations, player placements, and play calls…How you bring every player
into the game is outstanding.”

- “To be honest, I like the setup. I like the detail, especially in terms
of attacking certain areas of the field, and different individual player matchups affecting the result from play to play. I don’t know what other people have
indicated, but I also like the elimination of the “pass” or “run” call by
the defense. The defense is based
on 3 things: talent, placement, and any “options” (i.e.
keying/double-teaming). Overall,
the game rules are easy to pick up; after about 15 plays, I had it pretty
much down…All in all, I enjoyed the game!”
